Three weeks to launch a novel insurance campaign for MINI

MINI Financial Services approached Wrisk about a campaign to be launched at the beginning of January 2023 to help promote and support the purchase of new MINIs. Their proposal was to fund 12 months of free car insurance for customers who purchased in quarter one. 

In early December 2022, MINI Financial Services requested Wrisk to configure their existing insurance platform to support this campaign offer. The build, testing and approval process was completed by Wrisk and MINI Financial Services in three weeks, and was launched on January 3rd. 

Previous insurance promotion campaigns by MINI & BMW Financial Services and Wrisk have experienced very positive performance in terms of customer satisfaction. These campaigns have also experienced strong customer retention due to the transparency and ease by which customers can continue with BMW/MINI branded insurance after the promotion period expires.

The use of insurance promotion periods to support increased sales of defined new or existing models has become an attractive mechanism for our clients. However, it hinges on an efficient approval process by clients and insurers alike, and so credit should go to the teams at MINI Financial Services and at LV= for the work put in to be able to deliver this campaign on time.
