Simple. Personal. Transparent. These values don’t just apply to our product; we keep them in mind for everything we do.

As such, if you still have concerns this policy doesn’t address, please contact Caroline Garrow, our Data Protection Officer, at privacy@wrisk.co, and we’ll do our best to answer any questions you have.

Privacy

What data do you gather, who can access it and what will you use it for?

There are two separate legal entities behind Wrisk, and this policy applies to both of them. Both have the same access to any personal data you provide, but also the same obligations to you - if you ask us to delete your data, both will do it.

When you visit our website, we use a third party analytics service to record information about your visit in ways which do not personally identify you. This information helps us to understand what visitors tend to do on our site, allowing us to improve the user experience.

If, when you visit our website, you choose to give us your email address, we use a third party email service to subscribe you to our mailing list. Once you have confirmed your subscription, we will use your email address to send you updates on the progress of our company, product and services. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list easily at any time through a link in the email, or by emailing an unsubscription request to privacy@wrisk.co.

What if I don’t want you to hold my data anymore?

The only personally identifiable data we will have is your email address, if you choose to subscribe to our mailing list. If you would like us to delete this from our records entirely, just email privacy@wrisk.co. We will take care of this for you as soon as possible, then notify you once it is done.

Cookies

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that’s stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website, which can remember your activities and preferences.

Why do you use cookies?

We use cookies to tailor our content to make it more relevant to you. We also use some cookies provided by other companies whom we trust, which may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages that you visit. Understanding how customers are using our site and products helps us improve the customer experience.

How can I turn cookies off?

Should you wish to, you can prevent the use of cookies by adjusting the settings on your browser (see your browser help for how to do this), but this does mean things might not work as expected.

Our privacy policy is an evolving document and will be updated regularly to accommodate new developments in legislation and process. This policy was last updated on 21st September 2017.
